| Founded in 1907, Grandfather Nels Jon Holmberg left his Swedish homeland for a new life, settling in Western Oklahoma. He built this wonderful, now 100 year old Swedish Farmhouse that we proudly call home. A successful cattle and farming operation has been on-going for three generations of the Holmberg family. |
| We became interested in goats for weed control along our creek bottom pasture lands in 2005. Starting small with four Boer crosses , it didn't take long to realize how much we enjoyed having the goats around! |
| We then purchased a small herd of full-blood South African Boers but have since scaled back on our meat goats in order to focus and expand our dairy herd. Our dairy goat operation features primarily LaMancha and Nubians, but also includes representatives from nearly every other dairy breed. We are very excited about the addition of our newly acquired Nigerian Dwarfs this year. The dairy allows us to offer fresh goat milk daily as well as Chuck's very popular speciality goat cheeses. Our "goat lifestyle" at the Holmberg Farm has never been more fun and rewarding! |
